On the past weekend we attended to a great event of art known as Artissima in Turin at the Oval Lingotto. Every year Turin is the location selected to entertain one of the most important contemporary art fair in Italy. 207 were the exhibitor of art from all over the world with different pieces of art and installation. Since its establishment in 1994, it has combined the presence of an international market with a focus on experimentation and research. So, now in its 22nd edition, Artissima art fair exhibition is dedicated to contemporary art and experimentation. This year we attended the event Artissima and we noticed that the organization puts a lot of effort into expanding its base and inviting outstanding collectors from all over the world, while also trying to give a role to collectors within the fair, to have them as active participants, not just through acquisitions but also as the energy and fuel of the fair. Nearly two hundred galleries from around the world participate every year. In addition to the fair, Artissima is also composed of three art sections, headed by a board of international curators and museum directors, devoted to emerging artists, performances and rediscovering the great pioneers of contemporary art.
