Bernhard Lange specialises in aerial photography, and this very summery series focuses on some of the colourful Italian resorts on the Adriatic Sea. As he lay relaxing on the beach, the German photographer contemplated how graphically interesting the many rows of umbrellas would look from a bird’s eye view, so he hired a plane and took a look for himself. The bright series, named Summer will definitely make you want to head to the beach. The series is currently exhibited at the Mesdag Collection in Den Haag, Netherlands until 1st November.
