Visual artist Benjamin Løzninger puts cheerful cloud prints on the walls of city buildings to brighten up the streets for his ‘Cloud Project‘.
Based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the French art director is a huge fan of street art and so far, the project has already expanded across the pond from various US cities to Paris. The next installations will be in Portland and Brooklyn this fall and his plan is to start a Kickstarter campaign, where people can get involved to plaster more streets all around the world.
“I decided to stick to this very simple concept, without other aesthetic or arty interference, to reinforce the universality of the message, and make it stronger despite its apparent simplicity – the author said – So I went to the countryside near Dijon in France famous for its amazing view and took loads of pictures of clouds. Then they were printed on paper or sticker and put on the walls for a temporary period.”
