In March, we wrote about a portable photo studio called Foldio (if you missed it, click here), and we’re pleased to announce the makers have come up with a new and improved model, the Foldio 2, which is “Bigger & Smarter”.
The concept is similar to the first Foldio, but this version is larger (200% more volume) and better, as the team has studied the feedback from the original model and made big improvements. The studio is designed for people who want to take great, studio-quality photos with their smartphones (although it can of course be used with any kind of camera), and aims to make great photography accessible to the masses. This version is still fully portable, and a smartphone app is being developed to make sure you can get the best possible results from the studio. The LED light strips connected to an adaptor mean no more relying on batteries, so Foldio 2 is even more practical than its predecessor.
