Ontwerpduo, now an established name in Dutch design, even before graduation made a pact complete with a mission statement: to translate fairy-tale ideas into functional designs and surprise the world with them.
A magical light source with a graceful afterglow which lingers for up to eight hours once all the other lights have been turned off and the sun shines upon another hemisphere. The minimal lamp’s FSC papershade is screen-printed with a special ink that charges itself with natural and artifical light. When all of the lights go out, the lamp magically glows with the printed pattern.
