If Branding Was Brutally Honest: Viktor Hertz’s Honest Logos
Full Article 1 minutes read

Imagine what big brands could say. Here’s the new series of designs by Swedish designer Viktor Hertz.

Since 2011, Swedish designer Viktor Hertz has been reimagining corporate logos to better reflect the reality of what those companies have to offer.

Hertz carefully replicates each logo and works on a new name that will both capture the essence of their product and fit into the existing (often iconic) graphic design—he refers to the process like working on a jigsaw puzzle. A few of them, like Netflix (Nextfix), are so seamless you might do a double-take.

“An idea for a series with honest logos, revealing the actual content of the company, what they really should be called. Some are cheap, some might be a bit funny, some will maybe be brilliant. I don’t know,” says the artist.

Viktor Hertz is a freelance Graphic Designer from Sweden. “I remake company logos and give them a more truthful meaning” says the designer.

The new designs added brings his total up to 50. If you’re curious to see the complete work, take a look at Viktor Hertz’s behance.
